Margaret returned the school with a bit of a ponder. Based on a discussion she had with a City friend, she had to admit she had no idea what was served in the cafeteria, decided to enter it.
For the first time, Margaret entered the school cafeteria. She came as an anthropologist studying some lost tribe.
She looked around and saw nothing but semi strangers. A hair style she’d seen in Science class, or a profile in Math, was all she could discern.
She got on line and suddenly two mean girls were pushing in front of her.
The girl behind her sighed, “They always do that…”
Margaret looked at the mousy girl. A short, sad and resigned to her fate little lost soul.
