And Comes the Fourth Generation – 89

Hiram Pinnock who lived on Church property and ‘worked’ (term used loosely)  tried to stay under the radar.

He was useless as a watchman, so when the congregation was there, a security guard was on premises.

Pinnock warned his daughter, Hettie, (he knew exactly what she was doing, what she had done since she was twelve) not to let the others catch her.

She was not going to ruin her ‘piggy bank’.

Hettie would only approach Patrick Milgrove when he drove in,  get her money, and get inside before the others came.

This went on until Patrick died two months after Selma.

Patrick Milgove’s death shocked Hettie, leaving her with no open pocket.  Although her father warned her, he didn’t have to.  There were no other Church members Hettie could approach.
