Mee Rebus is actually a Malay cuisine. I’m not sure what is in it, but its mee in slightly sweet and spicy gravy. It’s one of my favourite Malay food, other than Mee Siam.
Mee rebus is definitely delicious, but I think the photo is not of mee rebus…?
That’s strange… I bought it back from the Malay store in the hawker.
But this one is the vegetarian one. There is a non-vegetarian one.
Well, there’s so many version of mee rebus.. I’m familiar with the one from my state, Johor, which I think is the most delicious since the soup it made from mashed sweet potato, making it thick!?
Hmm… sound yummy!!!
The one selling near my house area, doesn’t serve with thick gravy but still nice nevertheless.
So it looks delicious. But I do not like hot meals
