I have always been a fan of science fiction. It is my favorite genre for books, movies and TV shows. I have been reading and watching science fiction my entire life. Over the years I have had several different “favorite” movies. It changes every five to ten years or so. What is your favorite?

I have been a fan of Stargate from the beginning. I loved the movie and all the following shows. I think the concept is one of the most intriguing of all space traveling genre.
This movie had everything! Great special effects, humor, good acting and likable characters. I have watched this movie at least 100 times and I still love it!
This movie will always hold a special place for me. I remember the first time I saw it, I was just flabbergasted at the special effects. Those dinosaurs were so realistic!
I had a hard time deciding whether to list this movie or the original Predator. I liked them both, but in terms of being a simply fun and exciting movie, AVP wins. I love this movie!
This was such a good movie, I have watched it over and over. It is a shame that the lameness that followed in the second and third movie could not have been half as good!
This movie is full of cliches, but it is still great! It has such an interesting premise, I still like to watch it. I didn't think the second or third ones were bad either, but after that......train wrecks.
This movie was quite different, as it was underwater instead of in space. There was a lot of humor and fun involved, even though the storyline was serious. I could watch this movie once a week!
