‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ is one of my favourite Christmas songs. I had to memorize this Christmas carol one year before turning 20. Before then, I could make out some words. It’s until I bought a Christmas carol book I was able to sing the song without difficulty.
I like its content. The angels were glad to witness the birth of Jesus as they knew what the birth of Jesus in a human form signified – he was on a mission to reconcile humans to God, and to show the right away, and that we didn’t happen by chance.
