Simple crochet shell stitch strips

This pattern for curtain tie backs, belts or bag handles uses double crochet and a simple shell stitch.

Make the shell with two double crochet chain one two more double crochet chain two.

Turn and repeat two double crochet chain one two double crochet in chain one space of previous shell chain two then turn.

Repeat pattern until you get desired length.
