America has always had pre-emptive publicisers. Very little ‘news’ arrived unsifted and without ‘spin’.
The propaganda began with the so-called ‘Revolutionary War’, continued with the ‘All Men are Created Equal’.
Today, everyone knows that if those who had invaded the Capital on the 6th of January 2021 were not right wing White supremists, they would have been shot before they reached the lawn.
The most significant factor of January 6th is that the World saw it. The World reported on it.
No amount of American propaganda will ever obliterate the reality that racist white men (and a few house slaves) were able to enter the Capital and have free reign.
If the World hadn’t seen it, if it wasn’t live streamed, think of all the lies and suppression America would have attempted.
