Real World

This quote translates to:  Learn from the moon, even though it is alone, it never stops shinning.

This is an anonymous quote from a very wise person. I would only add, that the moon is the only thing that shines in the sky, when everything else is dark. If you can’t see the stars, you can always see the moon, even in the dark, and also in spite of the dark. In life, you have to learn to provide your own light. You have to learn to shine, even when nothing else gives off light.  You have to learn to find the light, from somewhere inside you, and shine it for the world to see. The moon reflects the light of the sun, after it sets, but even if you have no one to look up to, no one whose shinning example inspires you, this is when in the dark night of the soul, you must delve deeper in order to find the source; the source of all life, and creation. This is the moment, when you find out what you are made of.

When you find your light, will you shine it for all to see? When you find your light, will you hide it under a table, for fear of the eyes of envy that will be cast upon you? Do you accept yourself, or work hastily to hide who you really are from everyone, including yourself? What do you gain from all this? Remember that song:  I just found out there’s no such thing as the real world; just a lie you’ve got to rise above.
