I love meditation and I practice Hatha Yoga twice a week for the benefits I shall take into my life. This video brings a music of Krishna Das called Mere Gurudev, which means My Sublime Guru (free translation). Here you also have the lyrics and the translation so you can follow what it means while listening to it.
Wish you all a very good day/night and all paths you come across are full of light!
Mere Gurudev, charanon par sumana shraddha ke arpita haiTere hee dena hai jo hai. Wahi tujha ko samarapita hai
My Gurudev I offer these flowers of my faith at your feetWhatever I have, you have given to me, and I dedicate it all to you.
Na priti hai pratiti hai, na hi puja ki shakti haiMeraa yaha man, meraa yaha tan, meraa kan kan samarapita hai
I have no love, nor do I know you.I don’t even have the strength to worship you, But this mind of mine, this body of mine,my every atom is dedicated to you.
Tuma hee ho bhaava men mere, vicharon mein, pukaron mein.Banaale yantra ab mujhko mere saravatra samarapita hai
You are the only one in my heart and my thoughts. You are the one who I call out to.Now Make me your instrument…all I am I offer to you.
I love meditation, music is great
Yes, music is always good for a meditation. This one is special! 🙂
We have something else in common, Manoel; meditation. By the way, the lyrics are very beautiful and fascinating with the total submission.
Yes, meditation is a very nice way to be near you and feel all the power of light and love somehow. This music was presented to me in one of my Hatha Yoga classes and I was not able to hide the tears. They abruptly came out and so I had my moment with my Guru. Memorable!
The music is indeed very melodious and touching! Moreover, you have experienced something through this song.
That is so much right! Things that only our souls are able to see and feel and I pay attention to that carefully! =)
Nice song my baby! It remains me Loreena!
Thank you so much my dearest! ?
This music makes me feel so deeply connected to a power full of light!
“Sound Like Amazing”…!
