How, for the first time in history, a military plane crashed

During 1915, the Austro-Hungarian squadron bombarded the center of the Serbian military industry three times, the city of Kragujevac. The masters of the Kragujevac Military Factory repaired the cannons seized in the Balkan wars and set them on a nearby hill to defend the city.

Radoje Raka Ljutovac, a soldier, saw two enemy airplanes over the city on September 30, by binoculars. He pulled the trigger. The flames came out of the tubes. The plane was swinging, a thick smoke broke out of his carcass. Then he went to the ground. The grenade exploded near the plane, damaged it enough and sent it to the center of Kragujevac. The soldier immediately came to the horse in the city. When he was in front of a plane, he stood still and paid tribute to the pilots Fon Štefan and Otok Kiš.

A few days later, he was awarded the medal of the Star of Karadjordje with the Golden Swords. In the autumn of 1918 he participated in the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki Front.After the end of the war and demobilization, Radoje opened a trade in mixed goods in Trstenik He died on November 25, 1968.The members of the anti-tank missile units mark this day as a monument to the first defeat of the enemy airplane in Serbia on September 30th.1915.

      But the Balkans suffered the Turks, the Austro-Hungarians, the Germans, the collapse of Yugoslavia, the NATO bombing of Serbia ..We’re used to everything.Although it is sad that in the 21st century, somebody is running war.
