Simone had a nervous collapse.   She cried all the time, didn’t care about anything, wished she was dead.

It took time for her to be pulled together, and what was the ‘glue’  would be finding Damian, and getting him back.

When Simone got out of the hospital, she went to find Damian.   He had truly disappeared.  No one knew where he was.A few of his colleagues said they heard him talk about going to New York, taking up a job at  Presbyterian.

Simone left her child with her parents and raced to New York.  She went to all of the hospitals which had Presbyterian in the name.   There were four in Manhattan alone.She searched each one,  Damian wasn’t there.  He had never been there.She then hired a private investigator
