It was shortly after Sam left Nina that she learned he had departed the city, gone to his mother’s house, taken the children and filed for divorce.
Despite their agreement, despite the plans and promises and ideas, Sam had gone behind her back, taken the boys from his mother, and filed the Divorce.
These revelations occurred shortly before Final exams.
If Nina did well on her exams she would qualify for a special study. This would bring her extra credit for her Master’s degree.
Nina was certain Sam had timed the actions to ensure she would fail. With this belief, Nina put everything out of her mind, focused on Exams, and graduated top of her class.
She was offered the special study which was overseas. Nina accepted.
