On December 30 Shauna called Ethan, “Hi Stranger!” she cooed.
He was going to say; “Who is this?” but it would be too phoney, so simply replied; “Hi.”
“What you doing for New Year’s Eve.”
“Got a hot date.”
“With me?”
“Nope.”
“You are going to be with someone else on New Year’s Eve?”
“Sure.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yup,” Ethan laughed.
“You’re sending me up…”
“Nope Babes, I’ve got someone else and this is serious. I’m not your salt shaker anymore,” and he laughed again, and to her splutter replied; “Enjoy the Holo Deck.”
And he hung up
