People who Can’t Do Better will blather as if they are millionaires when they can’t pay their rent.
If you mention a fact, a reality that people with money would know, they first dismiss it. Subsequently, they incorporate it into their blather.
If you indicate a flaw, they will instantly dismiss what you said, then make their revisions in their subsequent sentences.
It is very amusing the first time it happens, and you are never to indicate; “But you said ABC and now you are saying CBA”.
Realise they lie about everything.
They have serious issues which require intensive assessment, possibly with hospital admission.
