Lily had no idea how people interacted, so saw no basis to be polite or friendly .If someone, trying to befriend her asked;
“What’s you’re favourite song?”
She would snap;
“I never waste time listening to those stupid songs. I have better things to do!”
If someone tried to include her;
“We’re going to the Burger King after class, you want to come?”
She said;
“I would throw up smelling that cheap diluted meat.”
So attempts to befriend Lily ended as they began. She was universally ignored through school, college, and now, the work place.
