Never believe that someone who has failed as often as an Abuser will change. No. Abusers never change. Failure teaches nothing.
Abusers marry. They mistreat their wives, the wives leave. They marry again. The same Abuse is instituted, and Wife 2 leaves.
The Abuser will marry again.
The Abuser will not accept fault, it is always the fault of the wife always someone else. The ‘world is against him’ is an oft repeated explanation given by Abusers.
It is never because of their actions that they are penalised. This inability to take blame, to accept fault, is standard for an abuser.
This refusal to take blame, admit fault, is the hallmark of an abuser. Even in situations in which there is no one but the Abuser, he will blame events and people in his past for ‘making’ him do it.
