NEVER GIVE AN ABUSER A SECOND CHANCE – 53

To give you a real, although nearly unbelievable example;

Fifteen years ago, Don was fired from his teaching job.  He now wants to ‘review’ that decision.   He contacts Lynn, whom he abused thirty years ago, to help him.

Lynn is a lawyer.

He does not give Lynn the details of what he did or was alleged to have done.  Don does not send the full transcript.  But he wants her to help him.

Without information, how can she?

The reality is that Don, feeling inferior, having run out of people to abuse, decides to recycle Lynn.

Decides to invent a ‘challenge’  she must fail so he can feel better about himself.
