It didn’t bother me that Jade hated me, it was a confirmation of my value.
After rude barks and dripping hatred, she’d try to befriend me with nice words. She also would ‘abduct’ my ideas or experiences.
A few days ago, she overheard me on the phone, explaining how when I went to supermarket it was like a social occasion because I saw so many people I knew.
Now Jade is sitting on the veranda, babbling how when she went to the supermarket she saw so many of her friends that she spent most time talking to them.
I kept my face straight.
