I was on Facebook when I popped his name into a search. I don’t know why. I wasn’t friendly with him when we were at High School.
I knew him when he was a big gawky nerd who thought he was the brightest boy at school, when he was middling.
I knew him when virtually failing his GSAT he went to a community college.
I recall one of the crew repeating the snobby remarks he had uttered about which top University he was going to attend, and we laughed.
I forgot about him until I was passing, a television was on, playing some soap, and I saw this guy. I didn’t recognise him then, for he’d changed his appearance. He had long braided hair, didn’t wear glasses.
It wasn’t until later that evening I realised that was him, and tuned in the following day to confirm.
