A dining room table. First off, in my life before marrying my wife of the past many yearsnow, I never owned a dining room table. I had kitchen tables and desks butnever a dining room table. My parents, as an engagement present (along with allthe other things they gave us, to launch us) gave us our first dining room table. We had that table in ourtownhouse in Cincinnati, our apartment in Cincinnati and both the houses inCincinnati. Although, we didn’t have a formal dining room in our secondCincinnati house. We turned the living/dining room into a play area for thekids. With twins you sometimes need acontrolled space to let them, as my wife always says, burn off the ya-ya’s!
We no longer have that table. We gave it to some friends.But the feeling is still with us.
