In the last year of October 2017, the National Green Tribunal (NGT)had ordered to stop the protest, demonstrations and movements at Jantar Mantar. After the verdict of the Supreme Court on Monday, protesters and petitioners have displayed their pleasure and urged the verdict on this issue of Jantar-Mantar is the true sense of democracy.

The issue of agitation for one rank-one- pension, which turned some damages on Jantar Mantar for two and a half years, was a matter of discussion all over the country. When this dharna, which started on June 15, 2015, was removed suddenly by the delhi police during the preparation of August 15, the whole country had responded on the behavior of government to the ex-servicemen who had sat their at Jntar Mntar in Dharna.

Former General Maj Gen Satbir Singh, who led the dharna, described it as the victory of democracy. Santosh Murat Singh of Uttar Pradesh who opposed the creation of his fake mortality certificate on Jantar Mantar, expressed his happiness and said that after leaving the place, I could not find a place anywhere to be like Jntar Mantar ,being an idle place to have our peaceful protest and demonstration.
