Twitter has an active 313 million users every month which makes it a very potent tool for online marketing. You can directly engage with your target audience or reach out to people using twitter. - First step is to create a profile on twitter including your short bio and profile pic. Add your website/blog link.
- Next important step is to connect with targeted audience. You can use twitter search to identify influencers and experts in your segment and start interacting with such people by retweeting or replying to their tweets.
- Make use of hashtags and tweet according to the latest trending hashtags.

If your post is predominantly a photograph – it can have text describing it – add this hashtag to it: #500pxrtg. Your tweet will get retweeted by a site that has a lot of followers. Don’t use it if it’s not a photograph.
