When I first read the headline that William Rabillo who is 13 years of age bought his mom Krystal Preston an auto recently, I thought I was seeing something that is very irregular since as far as I know, I have never heard of a young man who is not old enough to have a driver’s license to even drive an auto in Nevada.
However upon closer examination of the facts of this story, what happened what was William who does jobs like cutting grass and yard work in his neighborhood which has made him have some money to assist his mom raise him and two other siblings, found out through the social media page Facebook that a neighbor had put her 1999 Chevrolet Metro for sale.
William was able to use his business smarts to make a deal with the neighbor by selling his Xbox video game and do some yardwork and cut the grass of her home as payment to purchase the 1999 Chevy Metro for his mother who was tickled pink with surprise that her son bought her a used auto to ease the stress of living as a single mom raising three children by herself.
William is a very smart young man who uses his work skills to make the life that he loves better by assisting them get an auto that his mom needed.
That is what my late mom told me.
most kids his age would rather part with a limb than their console…
I can relate to that since my Nintendo Wii is very important to me to play MLB 2K8 and bowling for exercise and fun knocking down bowling pins.
and this kid is willing to part with his xbox and mow lawns for his mother. that’s old school. they don’t make them like that anymore…
That is so true since other than William, I cannot tell you which other teen would do that for their parents today.
you raise your kids right and hopefully they all would act the same…
