The night crept in silence with a few mumbles
that were half spoken and a quarter heard
I still do not know what bated her breath
but she had a stifle that was invisible
and yet was enforced to full effect
memories of past and acts of present
combined to make a future that looked bleak
I am stunned that She still stood
and had eyes that looked bright and firm
a reflection of her inside that, probably,
wanted to sing and laugh
but events made her cry in sobs
oh! how she wished for the day to dawn
so that she could erase her facial frowns
nobody cared for her and she was sank
head, neck, torso and legs
nothing would survive
yet she would live!
You can laugh heartily here by reading these books.
