My steps are on tiptoe
sharp and keen are their ears
they suspect moves that may sound sky-falls
with blistering rains and cataclysmic lightening
hearts would burst and heads ache
that is why they do
dumb charades on fake
then they can no longer contain
their child hearts and brains
they refuse to give up
and are stunned
that somebody could browbeat
their tactics
which made mad many
right from sane to insane fanatics
partaking their scum
as they as yet hum
they whisper yet again
words intended to show
bitterness and vengeance
and exhibit an exclusion
which they thought is what they got
a rejection high and dry
which got them fried
so they start again
they breathe big
snorting like incorrigible pigs
and they pant high
not knowing
it is well worth naught
because they all are
already caught
they break their heads
against a wall
hurting themselves even more
they have a collection of pet phrases
to instigate
and they as yet want to hear a response
but none would come
even if they tried
their 50 lifetimes
of treacherous strum and hum !
