The Cyclops as Modern Art Rehabilitation

Or perhaps post modern art rehab. Another confusing classification for the era of so much info. Using the line  in a more simplified manner or trying for a simpler linear composition. Trying to give the eyes a  break. The head in this case seems to encase a large  single optical  feature which allowed me to think of cyclops. The doodling was affected more by the desire of trying to simplify  the  use of the line. The concept of the cyclops was an accidental  result. This work started off more as a formalist effort. This is a watercolor on paper. 15 x 19 inches. 38 x 48  cm.
