Nude – 17-06-15
When I saw this photo for the first time I didn’t know what to think of it. I do not relate to so-called romantic art of ballerinas and dancers striking great poses. Therefor I had to come up with something different and I was intrigued by the pose nevertheless. I tried to dissociate myself from the picture and trying to see one thing in another I saw a horse’s head appearing in the female figure. To complete the drawing I made some kind of Musketeer on a pranching horse in the background, perhaps as a subliminal guide for people to recognize the surrealism of the horse in the drawing.
