I lie

like a fry

mouse would be bolder

but then I do grow older

and courage multiplies

now lies

are simply done

without a blink of an eye

and no pink ever

shines on my cheeks

I pass it like veritable truth

and walk by

risk is on listener

and believer

but then hiding tracks

is my style

but then I use it

for good

because lies

get you thorns

and no roses

as time slips

by and by!
