but it is time
that it was said
and it is time that I acted
otherwise, you were hurtling
in a false world
of self-image
and expectations
that were unreal
and never to be attained
you must be indebted to me
for having saved
you from a much larger hit and hurt
that would have befallen you
if all your efforts
had come to a naught
much later on
there are times in our lives
that we must see the bitter truth
and moderate lives
accordingly
or we shall collapse
of shocks as
unrelated
reject us wide
we have stopped
shocked
at several such
milestones
and recovered
so we are
veterans
and thought
should help!
