This is an abstract acrylic painting from my art journal. The golds and browns reminded me of the season, so I titled it “Fall”.
I haven’t had much of an urge to paint lately. Mostly I’ve been drawing and doodling with pen and pencil. I hope to get back to painting pretty soon. The best thing to do would be to just schedule the time in for it, and do it. I almost always “get into it” once I start.
I am running out of colors, especially black, white,and metallics. So I need to invest in some new paint. What I’d really like to invest in is some watercolors and paper, but that is too expensive for me right now. But I have a strong urge to do watercolors, so I just might do it anyway. I can practice with cheaper materials until I can afford the better quality stuff.
When a person has purpose and desire is achieved. Better late than never. I liked this autumn.
