Disturbing a Hornets' nest

Stir the Hornets’ nest

see buzz

anger

irritation

from repose

they are not happy

and they look for the cause

with a stick in hand

they can see

and understand

(evidence that insects think)

they nosedive

in violence

hurl

their sharp fangs

in surface

which you call skin

now they are on the attack

one or many

catch you unawares

after a while

you run

leaving the battlefield

and you have lived the phrase

‘disturbing a hornets’ nest’.!

What do you think?
