CASTING ASPERSIONS
Fear is the root of assumption
Assumption being the mother
of all misunderstandings
inevitably gives birth
to the daughter of animosity
Obvious to prudence,
Oblivious to themselves,
Quick to entice contention
those who fear much
assume much
The contempt from loose lips
seek out cousin itchy ears,
Cousin itchy hastily spreads ‘news’
to the family of gossipers,
These clueless lovers of babel
often cast aspersions
on things they know nothing about.
