The first image is a black and white photograph from the 1930’s archeological site at Antioch where Princeton University and the Museum of Fine Arts in St Pete Florida did excavations. Many mosiacs were backed in concrete and shipped to St Pete where they were buried underground onsite at the Museum to be only recently Reclaimed and put on display. Here are a few more Greek style floor mosiacs.
