we have broken

free on either side

directions are unknown

yet life together is done

stifles, wounds, sharpness

and acrimony

took its toll

we may not meet ever

per our wishes

but then we improve

at costs, of course

later If I can bear yours

and you mine

we would still keep open

another time, another way!
