Wooden Door in the Old Mill

Inside the old Mill near the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park there were many wonderful original artifacts. Here we see a wooden door that is built in two parts so that it can be opened top or bottom. Even the latches on the door are wooden. Note how the cross bars of wood are beveled.
