Old Barn at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center

We are at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the entrance from the North Carolina side. Here is the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and the large meadow and original village there that has been reconstructed and preserved. This is one of the barns there nearest the river and is the largest structure. It too has a wood shingle roof and log structure. In the second photo, the dovetailed logs can be seen in the interlocking corner.
