Formal Dining Room at the Andrew Low House

Many of the rooms at the historic Andrew Low House in downtown Savannah, Georgia had formal furniture. This is the dining room of the 1848 brick house. The table is formally set for a meal. The light above used to be a gaslight. The intricate plaster crown molding at the top of the wall is two layered and lovely. The curtains are amazing and the mirror frames are gilded.
