Here at the Empire Farm Days show in Seneca Falls, New York there was lots of farm equipment out on the field for show. The size of the harvesters and tractors was amazing. They had many 18 wheel transport semi trucks there and even had an “antique” truck in pristine condition, a Mack truck from 1959. This truck had a 672 cubic inch Thermodyne diesel engine. This makes that an 11 Liter engine. This gave it 185 hp and the truck even had air operated wipers.
They don’t make those engines anymore. I think they called them “big OD” on the CB radios. I don’t know it’s been a long time.
That is a beautiful truck. Nice post.
