Chimborazo is an inactive strato-volcano, the national reserve and the highest peak in Ecuador 6262m and if not the highest volcano in the world, Chimborazo is the furthest point from the core to the surface of the planet earth. This is because the planet Earth is not the proper shape more flattened and convex at the poles and the equator. Mount Everest as the highest point on the planet is located 28 degrees north latitude and Čimbrozo on the equator where the scope of the equator cheese for about 20km.Residents of Ecuador’s Chimborazo is the sacred mountain and is located on the flag of the Latin American state.
