This story is one of the amazing stories that I have heard about since Chris Campbell who is 43 years of age is one of the longest serving employees at the Norcross Georgia McDonald’s Hamburger which 27 years of service with the same company which would make him a real life Iron Man.
What makes Chris Campbell an amazing person is that he has Down’s Syndrome which has not prevented him from coming to work at the same McDonald’s fast food restaurant for 27 straight years which is an incredible feat since working in the fast food industry requires a strong dedication to work in a field of business that does not pay a huge salary for the average employee.
On March 15, 2019, the Downs Syndrome Association of Atlanta and the employees at the McDonald’s restaurant decided to honor Chris with a party and a special trophy for his 27 years of dedicated service with the Golden Star of McDonald’s.
Chris is a positive role model for everyone since he did not allow Down’s Syndrome to place him on the sidelines of life. His positive work ethic at McDonald’s is a shining example for all of us to do our best in our chosen field of life and be rewarded for his hard work and excellent service at his line of work for such a long period of time.
You have a great point since the real darkness in the world is being pushed under the rug.
27 is a strange number. You’d expect 25 or 30…
I know what you mean since 27 years with one company is an impressive record.
it’s a long time, but not a round number…
I know what you mean since 27 is not a round anniversary number like 25.
right? so I am wondering what brought this on and why it couldn’t wait until 30. My guess? Trying to distract from something potentially stock impacting
