Walking around downtown Lansing, Michigan you can see this tall dome from all over town. It drew me in like a moth to light. It was the Michigan State Capitol Building right in the central part of downtown Lansing. It was opened in 1879 and designed by Elijah E. Myers. It is made of stone with a large iron dome. The interior is totally and they give free tours daily.
Looks magnificent!!
Will have to visit if I have the chance!
