It is probably a bit too early to speculate about next world cup. The last four FIFA world cups were dominated by Eurpoean teams and the South American giants are missing from the centre stage for some time. Not many could forget the 2014 semi final loss of Brazil to Germany when they lost by a margin of 1 – 7 at home. Messi has been constantly disappointing his fans at home and abroad in all the World Cups. Purely going by the law of averages, one could expect a team from South or Central America to lift the title. But the Europeans are too strong at the moment. The continent is full of strong teams that a celebrated side like Italy had to miss the last World Cup. Now that the matches are being played in Qatar, do we have a chance of an Asian or an African team lifting the cup? Please share your views.
