Which is your favorite national Football team in the continent of Americas?

Football is a truly global sport that has arguably the highest number of fans across the world. It is also gaining acceptance even in countries like USA where the games was not popular earlier. The Americas include all the countries from North, Central and South America. Brazil and Argentina are by far the most popular teams from this continent. Uruguay is no ordinary team winning the FIFA world cup twice and enjoys the reputation of winning the first FIFA world cup in 1930. Mexico is a strong team from this region as they have won an Olympic Gold medal in the year 2012. No matter how strong their European counterparts are, the teams from South and Central America add an unique flavor and spice to this already exciting sport.

  1. You sure have company Lado. I too love Argentina though they are not exactly playing to their potential. They were the only team that tested France with three goals in the last World Cup though they ended up conceding four goals. Hope their time comes soon again.
