Serve is one of the most potent weapons in Tennis. It is difficult to break the serve of a player who has the capability to fire many aces. The Tennis players take special effort and training to improve their serving skills both in terms of speed and precision. While speed is an important factor, it is not everything. The ability of the player to find sharp angles on either side without any fault is what makes them such a formidable opponent. While the Williams sisters are among the most notable big servers, the fastest serve ever recorded in women’s tennis was fired by Sabine Lisicki of Germany. She has broken the 130 mph mark for serve during a match in Stanford, USA. The second fastest serve in women’s tennis was not fired by Serena but by her elder sister Venus Williams. But as I have said before, speed is not everything. Who do you think is the strongest and most dangerous of all players in serve?
