Pit Bulls are a loyal, people-oriented breed that thrive as part of the family. They are affectionate with both adults and children. For most of the 114 years since the American pitbull terrier was first recognized by the United Kennel Club, the breed was rightly seen as the perfect “nanny dog” for children because of its friendly nature, loyalty and stability. Note: All children should be taught how to interact with animals and should be supervised when playing with any animal.
