This abstract image was inspired by a painting by Joseph Mallord William Turner in 1838 called The Fighting Temeraire which Turner painted being tower be broken up with a magnificent dramatic Turner sky. This painting was painted with acrylic paint on canvas without the use of a brush instead i used kitchen roll and card. it depicts a number of sailing ships with damaged rigging limping home after a sea battle.
Let’s go on an adventurous trip, Ralph! Cool!
It’s supposed to be after an adventure returning home with an early morning sky the ships rigging is all blown apart. The ships will be full of wounded men the surgeon will be busy sawing off limbs. There will be the moans and screams of the wounded. It’s more of a sad painting it is not a celebration of war.
Is that the real meaning, Ralph? O, that’s why you used that kind of red! True, it is very laden with sorrow. But on the other hand, however, the adventure never stops, is not it? The human ego also still forces us to continue fighting! Anyway, this is a great work! I love it !!!
It was more to do with the futility that was the message I hoped to get across.
An important message for all of us! Have a nice weekend, my friend!
