Bacolod City is also known as The City of Smiles. It’s the capital city of Negros Occidental, and this is the province where I was born. Sugarcanes are the abundant products that we have here. Canes are being harvested by local sakadas, then deliver it to the sugar mill plant, and processed into either brown sugar or refined it into white sugar leaving the molasses as by-products. Bacolod City is famous for its Masskara festival, a mardi gras festival held annually at the third week of October.
This photo was taken at Capitol Park and Lagoon, a people’s park for Negrenses that offers free pass and good to hang out with friends like I have here on this picture. According to 2016 The Conyo Times survey, Bacolod City is the best place to live in the Philippines. And I was grateful for that, coz the crime rate is minimally low and expect the cleanliness within the city too.
So try to be here and experience a utopia-like vacay on one of our own Bacolod City.
