Wandering through the Internet I came across a photo of an amazing looking church that had a corkscrew-shaped church tower which visitors could climb to get awesome views of Copenhagen, Denmark.
The building of the Church of Our Savior began in 1695. At first, the tower didn’t have a spire and the spire was later added inspired by the spire of Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza in Rome, Italy. The church was inaugurated by King Frederik V on August 28, 1752.
There are 150 stairs that twist around four times counterclockwise and at the end is a plinth with a gilded globe and a sculpture of Jesus.

Very pretty church. Of course I especially love the spiral above it but it would be daunting for me to climb it at my ripe old age of 66…
