The citrus plant is the favorite of the flying insects

When I was given my first lime plant I was not aware of the pest. The flying insect, be it a butterfly or a moth, would lay the eggs on the young leaves of the plant. When the eggs hatch and out comes the larva to eat the young leaves that would leave the plant with no leaves anymore.

Now that I know the trick of those flying insects, I would be checking the lime or lemon plants every day. When there are eggs to remove, I cleanse it with water. Now the lime plants are growing well without the pestering larva.

  • Do you eradicate the larva of the butterfly?
