When I was in grade school we had a gardening subject in the 5th grade. Our teacher said that the easiest vegetable to plant is the sweet potato vine. We call it camote here and everyone knows that the young leaves of the camote vine are nutritious. It is one favorite of my father when it is boiled and eaten with fried fish.
It is just recently that it came to my mind about planting the camote vine in a pot. If you do not have a space for a garden, you can plant the camote vine in a pot to have an ample supply of fresh young leaves for the kitchen. Nice idea, said my friends.
